Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data we collect on maservo.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. In short: the site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. We only receive your details if you send us a demo request.

Who is responsible

Maservo is operated by Iterator IT ApS. Iterator IT is the data controller for personal data collected through maservo.com. When this page says "we", it means Iterator IT and the Maservo team.

What this policy covers

This policy covers the pages at maservo.com and the Book a demo form on them.

It doesn't cover the Maservo app at app.maservo.com. Data in the app is governed by the agreement between Iterator IT and the customer who uses it.

Visiting the site

The site doesn't use cookies or analytics, and it runs no tracking or ad tools.

Fonts and scripts are served from maservo.com itself. If the site's own copy of React fails to load, the page falls back to a public CDN for it. In normal use, nothing is fetched from anywhere else.

The whole site, including the handler that receives the Book a demo form, is hosted on Microsoft Azure in the United States. To deliver the site and keep it secure, the hosting processes technical data: your IP address, details about your browser and device, and the pages you request.

The form handler keeps its own logs. They record errors and a reference to the lead it created, not the contents of the form. These logs are kept for 30 days.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in delivering a working, secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Cookies

The site sets no cookies. It doesn't use browser storage, such as local storage or session storage, either.

Book a demo

When you send a demo request, we collect:

  • your name and email address (required)
  • your company, phone number and a message (optional)

We use these details only to answer your request and to follow up with you about Maservo. We never add you to a Maservo or Iterator newsletter or marketing list without your separate consent.

Legal basis:

  • Answering your request is a step you ask us to take before a possible contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Following up with you about Maservo afterwards is based on our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Your request is stored in our CRM, Pipedrive.

If your company doesn't become a customer, we keep your details for 12 months after our last contact with you. Last contact means the most recent recorded exchange between us, in either direction, such as an email, a call or a meeting. If your company becomes a customer, the 12-month rule no longer applies, and the customer agreement governs the data.

Processors and transfers

We use two processors for data collected through the site.

  • Microsoft (Azure) hosts the site in the United States, in the East US 2 region. The transfer to the United States is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Pipedrive stores demo requests in its data centre in the United States. Pipedrive covers the transfer with the EU standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

We never sell personal data collected through the site.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you
  • have incorrect data corrected
  • have your data deleted
  • have the processing of your data restricted
  • object to our processing of your data
  • receive your data in a portable format

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we publish the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
